Italy pretty much has the same education system as the other countries. The system is divided in 5 stages:

• Kindergarten - 3 years, age 3 to 6.

• Primary school - 5 years, age 6 to 11 although some children start primary school at 5 instead of at 6.

• Lower Secundary school - 3 years, age 11 to 14.

•Upper Secundary school - 5 years, age 14 to 19.

• University - 19 to ?

The system goes from 3 to 19 years of age and Italy has both public and private education systems.

Italy has the 18th best education system of the world.
